Disneyland’s Diamond Celebration is still a couple months away but Disney has been giving fans a sneak peek at the merchandise for the party, including the all-new pins.
There are more than 100 Disney pins being released for Disneyland’s 60th anniversary, and that’s enough to make any Disney pin trader or collector very happy.
The Diamond Celebration pins include starter sets, lanyards and lanyard medals, trading bags, mystery packs, collector packs, and open and limited edition pins. There’s something for every kind of Disney pin collector.
One of the more popular pins will likely be the Mickey Mouse “60” logo pin, but there’s also a mouse ears pin with a lot of sparkle, and a pin featuring the Disneyland “D” with “60.”
Disneyland Resort Annual Passholders will have a chance to purchase as special series of pins that will be released bi-monthly starting in May. The pins are hinged diamond-shaped pins featuring stained glass that open to reveal Disneyland characters and attractions.
Disney is also releasing the limited edition Pin Trading Board Game – the game features game token pins and takes players down Pixie Dust Path as they celebrate films, attractions, and more from Disneyland Resort.
