Disney Junior’s ‘Miles from Tomorrowland’ Starts Second Season on June 20

milesDisney Junior’s animated hit series Miles from Tomorrowland kicks off its second season on Monday, June 20 on both Disney Junior and Disney Channel.

The show tells the story of Miles and his family as they work to help connect the galaxy for the Tomorrowland Transit Authority.

The show is a “mix of science fact and science fiction” according to show creator and executive producer Sascha Paladino.

Miles from Tomorrowland also has a technical consultant from NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory and another who is a NASA astronaut.

NASA even incorporates Miles from Tomorrowland into its curriculum for the NASA Girls and NASA Boys programs. These programs are “virtual mentoring” programs that give students that chance to learn from real engineers, scientists, and technologists.

Miles from Tomorrowland season two starts June 20 at 9 a.m. on Disney Junior and 6 p.m. on Disney Channel.
