Disney Vacation Club Showroom Opens at Tokyo Disneyland

The Disney Vacation Club extended its presence to Japan today, as Tokyo Disneyland opened its first Disney Vacation Club Model Showroom at the Ikspiari shopping and dining complex.

Taking advantage of the high affinity for Disney in Japan, the new showroom is the first international sales preview center for the Disney Vacation Club. Disney has already established two offsite preview centers in the Chicago and New York areas. These showrooms allow guests to tour full-scale models of Disney Vacation Club rooms, speak with Disney representatives about the Club, and explore the many vacation possibilities open to Disney Vacation Club members.

The 15,000-square-foot Japanese showroom features a model room from Aulani, Disney’s upcoming Vacation Club property in Hawaii. The showroom also features a play area for children and other interactive zones. About the new showroom, Disney Vacation Club president Jim Lewis says:

“Our first two offsite sales preview center location have been very popular and a great way for Chicago-and New York-area residents and visitors to learn more about the family vacation experiences available with Disney and beyond. Now, we are delighted to bring Disney Vacation Club to Tokyo so that even more people can share the experience of vacation ownership. Disney Vacation Club offers families a new way to vacation and shows that additional space in the room can lead to even more relaxation during the vacation.”
