A grand opening celebration is planned for Thursday, July 29th to reveal the first newly designed Disney Store on the East Coast; located in the Roosevelt Field mall in Garden City, N.Y. Having undergone a floor-to-ceiling makeover the store will feature a more interactive and technology-driven shopping experience. An experiential Disney Princess castle with magic mirror, Disney·Pixar CARS-branded Ridemakerz experience, & the Disney Store Theatre are just a few of the new features.
Disney Consumer Products is reporting that there will be a special appearance by Toy Story’s Buzz Lightyear & at 10 a.m. the Disney Store grand opening celebration and “unlocking the imagination” ceremony will take place.
