New Shoe Ornaments Showcase Style and Disney Character

If you love shoes and Disney, listen up! A new collection of Disney character-inspired shoe ornaments is debuting soon at Walt Disney World and Disneyland.

The ornaments were created by Disney Design Group artists Cody Reynolds and Costa Alavezos and include embellishments like jewels and glitter. The shoes were inspired by Disney Princesses and other characters such as Daisy Duck, Minnie Mouse, Mary Poppins, the evil Queen from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, and Cruella DeVille.

Each shoe showcases intricate details inspired by its character – the Queen from Snow White features a sword as the heel, the heel of the Mary Poppins shoe is the umbrella handle, and the Queen of Hearts shoe has playing cards printed on the inside of the shoe. The Disney Princess shoes are truly inspired by the royal court – the heel of Rapunzel’s shoe is her braided hair, Ariel’s shoe has mermaid-like scales and a tail, and Snow White’s has a shiny red apple at the toe. And Minnie Mouse’s shoe features those iconic ears that everyone loves.

The shoe ornaments are 3 inches long by 3.5 inches tall and include a removable ribbon. Like the ear ornaments introduced last year, these shoes are ideal to display year-round. The ornaments will be sold in the parks, and via the Disney Parks online store beginning this summer.
