Season Two of ‘Mickey Mouse’ Cartoon Shorts Premieres April 11 on Disney Channel

The Emmy and Annie Award-winning comedic shorts feature Mickey Mouse and his friends as they experience silly situations, and heartfelt moment. The cartoon shorts debuted on Disney Channel in June 2013 and currently air in 160 countries in 33 languages.

Season two finds Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Goofy, and Pluto visiting many locations around the world including Spain, Holland, and India. They even make a trip to outer space. Several of the short will center around Minnie Mouse.

The season opener – ‘Cable Car Chaos’ – finds Mickey and Minnie in San Francisco on a runaway cable car as it careens through the city. Other episode this season include ‘Fire Escape,’ ‘Eau de Minnie,’ and ‘The Boiler Room.’

The cartoon shorts are geared toward kids ages 6-14 and are produced in 2D animation, with the design reminiscent of Mickeys’ 1930s design, but with contemporary touches. Disney fans might even notice the occasional homage to other Disney icons.

The new season premieres April 11, and fans can see other shorts on April 25, May 23, and a date to be determined in June.
