Sneak Peek of Menu Items at Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar in Downtown Disney

slidersAs construction continues on Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar in Downtown Disney (soon-to-be Disney Springs), Disney is giving guests a sneak peek at the menu.

The menu at Jock Lindsey’s will feature tapas style dishes and beverages that are “inspired by Jock’s globe-trotting to all continents.”

Items include pretzels with house-made mustard and cheese fondue, Dr. Elsa’s She-Deviled Eggs topped with crab and brined with beet juice, “Good” Dates stuffed with goat cheese, Rolling Boulder Sliders, and “Squid! Why’d It Have to be Squid” calamari flatbread.

Drinks include the The Aviator’s Flight, The Scottish Professor, a Hovito Mojito, The Fountain of Youth, and a Cool-headed Monkey.

This new restaurant also comes with its very own back story and it goes something like this: When Jock Lindsey (known by many as the pilot for Indiana Jones) flew over Florida while looking for the Fountain of Youth in 1938 he noticed a charming town and decided to build a waterfront home. Here he would entertain his friends from the Society of Explorers and Adventurers in his hangar.

Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar is set to open later this fall in Downtown Disney/Disney Springs.
