‘Sounds Like Summer’ Concert Series to Begin June 12 at Epcot

Starting June 12, visitors to Epcot will be able to listen to groups play tribute to some of the best bands from around the globe in their annual “Sounds Like Summer Concert Series.” The concerts will be held at the open-air America Gardens Theatre in the World Showcase, and will feature bands cover the music of such legendary acts as U2, Heart, Journey, and others.

The complete schedule includes:

Hotel California – A Salute to The Eagles, June 12-18
Stayin’ Alive – A Tribute to the Bee Gees, June 19-25
Slippery When Wet – The Ultimate Bon Jovi Tribute, June 26 – July 2
Little Queen – The Music of Heart, July 3-9
Frontiers: A Tribute to Journey, July 10-16
Karin Lawson – A Tribute to Janet Jackson, July 17-23
2U – A Tribute to U2, July 24-30

Concert times at Epcot will be held at 5:45 p.m., 7:00 p.m., and 8:15 p.m. except on July 4, when the times will be 5:15 p.m., 6:30 p.m., 7:45 p.m. and 9:00 p.m to accomadate larger holiday crowds.
