The Walt Disney World Resort Announces New and Returning Holiday Experiences for 2017

holidays at wdwThe holiday season at Walt Disney World kicks off in early November and Disney has started to announce what experiences and events guests can expect.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios is adding some new holiday events to its lineup including Sunset Seasons Greetings with a new projection show, enhanced holiday décor around Echo Lake, the return of Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! and the accompanying dessert party, Minnie’s Holiday Dine at Hollywood & Vine, and Santa Claus at the Once Upon a Time Shop.

Epcot is celebrating the season with the Epcot Festival of the Holidays featuring 15 Holiday Kitchen, Chip & Dale’s Christmas Tree Spree, new entertainment, and more. The Festival starts November 9. Guests can also enjoy the Candlelight Processional which kicks off November 24.

At the Magic Kingdom the holiday celebration include A Frozen Holiday Wish, Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, and Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration.

Disney Springs will feature a bigger Christmas Tree Trail, Santa’s Chalet, and Stitch’s Holiday Gift Hunt.

And the Resort hotels will be decked out for the holidays too with trees, decorations, and don’t forget the gingerbread displays at select hotels.
