The Week in Disney News – Epcot Food and Wine Festival News, Diamond Luau in Disneyland, and New Merchandise at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

food and wineWe’re getting closer to the start of the 20th anniversary of the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival and last week was a big week if you’re making plans to visit this year!

The Disney Food Blog announced the grand launch of the DFB Guide to the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival ebook and for a limited time readers can get a $3 discount off the cover price by using the code Chefs2015 at checkout.

This full-color book feature more than 250 pages of menus, daily schedules, special events, and everything you need to know about this year’s Food and Wine Festival.

And in other Food and Wine Festival news, it was announced that Disney Chase Visa cardholders can book seminars, demos, and special events starting July 28 (booking for the general public starts July 30).

But this year there are also three special events just for Disney Chase Visa cardholders – Brews, Breakfast, and More on September 28 (cost is $98 plus tax per guest), The Making of Party for the Sense on October 27 (cost is $125 plus tax per guest), and The Creation of the Food and Wine Marketplaces on November 9 (cost is $99 plus tax per guest).

Those three events can be booked right now!

In other news, last week was the anniversary of The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror and more merchandise debuted in the Hollywood Tower Hotel Authentic collection which features items inspired by this fan-favorite thrill ride.

And Disneyland is still celebrating its 60th anniversary! On August 10 and 11 there’s a special Diamond Luau at Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar that you won’t want to miss!
