The Week in Disney News: Holiday Dessert Party Bookings, New Epcot Dessert Party, and More

It’s been a busy week of news in the world of Disney, so let’s check out the biggest stories.

Bookings opened for the holiday dessert parties at the Magic Kingdom! Guests can now make reservations for the Happy HalloWishes Dessert Party and the Holiday Wishes Dessert Party.

In honor of Cars Land – and the release of Cars 3 – Disney California Adventure is hosting artists showcases at Ramone’s House of Body Art. The second (and final) showcase is June 24.

Speaking of Disneyland, several iconic attractions are reopening this summer including Disneyland Railroad, Rivers of America, and Fantasmic!.

A new dessert party is coming to Epcot this summer. The Frozen Ever After Dessert Party replaces the IllumiNations Sparkling Dessert Party beginning in July.

Cars 3 arrived in theaters on June 16 and guests at the Disney Parks will find a variety of new Cars 3 merchandise including toys, apparel, and a limited edition retail MagicBand.

The D23 Expo is just a month away and guests can check out an all-new pavilion – Walt Disney Parks and Resorts: A Galaxy of Stories. This pavilion will include a model of the new Star Wars-themed lands at Disneyland and Disney’s Hollywood Studios and much more.

And finally, Mobile Order – which debuted at Pandora last month – will make its way to five Magic Kingdom quick service restaurants this summer.
