The Week in Disney News: New One-Day Dining Plan Testing, WDW Marathon News, and More

festival of arts logoYou did it! You made it through the first week of 2017! It was a busy week of Disney news, so let’s check out what you might have missed.

Guests visiting the Magic Kingdom between January 12 and February 22 have a chance to try the new ‘Dine on the Go’ one-day quick service dining plan.

This new one-day quick service Dining Plan gives guests one quick service meal before 4 p.m. and one quick service meal after 4 p.m. The cost is $29 for adults and $12 for kids ages 3-9.

Today is the last day of the Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend and the weather played a role in the races this year. runDisney ended up cancelling the half marathon on Saturday, January 7, due to forecasts of severe weather.

The first Epcot International Festival of the Arts kicks off Friday, January 13 and we have more details about the Festival.

Dates have been announced for the 2017 ‘Delicious Disney, A Chef Series.’

New Hidden Mickey Disney pin collections are arriving soon at Disney World and Disneyland.

And, a new tequila bar is coming soon to Epcot’s Mexico pavilion!
