Town Center is Next Phase of Disney Springs Transformation Project

Disney Springs Town CenterAs the transformation of Downtown Disney into Disney Springs continues, the next phase of the project will be the Town Center.

This is a new district that will be created within Downtown Disney/Disney Springs and is currently under construction in an area that used to house a parking lot.

The stores that will occupy Town Center will be bigger than those open in The Landing.

The shops planned for the Town Center will reportedly be bigger, national brands but Disney isn’t saying anything specific about potential tenants.

The entire theme of Disney Springs is meant to be reminiscent of a 1900s small town in Florida, and the Town Center will reflect a 1920s vibe with Spanish tile roofs, tree lined streets, and shell stone paving for the walkways.

The location of Town Center will be from the existing World of Disney store to the Planet Hollywood building, which is also going through its own makeover.

The entire Disney Springs project is expected to be completed by 2016.
