AMC Dine-In Theatre

The AMC Downtown Disney 24 Movie Theatre added a Dine-In option in May 2011. The AMC Dine-In Theatre experience offers a fun, unique way to enjoy a new movie along with your favorite foods and beverages.

As of this writing, six theaters in the complex have undergone this “dinner and a movie” experience. Dubbed Fork & Screen, the comfortable seats, table-top trays and a personal notification button to discreetly call your server during the movie combine to make AMC Dine-In Theatre a convenient, fun and enjoyable way to catch a flick on the big screen. Additionally, the experience involves reserved seating. What this means is that, when you pay for your tickets, you are able to choose from a selection of available seats in the the theatre where you would like to sit. No more mad dashing for a prime seat for a popular movie; with AMC Dine-In Theatres, you choose your seats ahead of time, and will get a great view of the screen no matter which part of the theatre you’re in.

An extensive food and beverage menu means that patrons have a lot of choices available when dining-in at AMC Theatres. Choose from a selection of appetizers, entrees, and desserts. Alcoholic beverages are also available for adults guests 21 and older. Some of the choices you can make include mozzarella sticks, onion rings, pastas, salads, sandwiches, flatbread pizzas and lots more. Save room for dessert, which can include cheesecake, cakes, cupcakes, brownies and more. There is also a special kids menu for the little ones, but minors must be accompanied by an adult in order to attend the AMC Dine-In Theatre experience.

Guests can also stop by MacGuffins Bar and Lounge before or after their theatre experience for a relaxing place to order beer, wine, cocktails and bar food before or after the show. Minors accompanied by an adult can also enjoy the lounge area.

Tickets for the AMC Dine-In Theatre range from $6-12 depending on showtime, and this doesn’t include the price of food. However, the food prices are reasonable but beverages lean towards the more expensive side.

Overall, the AMC Dine-In Theatre experience is great for guests who want to combine dinner and a movie in a fun and unique way. Whether it’s a romantic date for two or a fun night out for the whole family, the Fork & Screen entertainment experience at AMC Theatres in Downtown Disney is a great way to enjoy new movies and food combined.
