There’s a new “no smoking” policy at Walt Disney World and Disneyland, in addition to new policies for strollers, ice in coolers, and more.
Starting May 1, the theme parks at Disney World and Disneyland will be smoke free.
The new smoke free zones also include the ESPN Wide World of Sports, Disney World water parks, and Disneyland’s Downtown Disney District.
Designated smoking areas will be available outside the entrances of the new smoke-free areas, and at Disney Springs.

Jaleo, the new table service restaurant from Chef José Andrés, is opening this weekend in Disney Springs.
The restaurant will open for dinner on Sunday, March 17.
The Disney Springs location will be the fifth Jaelo in the United States and the first in Florida.
The menu will feature tapas, savory paellas, sangrias, and a selection of Spanish wines and sherries.
Jaleo will also serve a selection of embutidos – cured ibérico ham, pork chorizo, and spreadable cured sausage; in addition to Gazpacho estilo Algeciras; Brussels sprouts salad with apricots, apple, and serrano ham; …

Disney is celebrating its new line of food-inspired merchandise – the Disney D-Lish merchandise – with a special pop-up event at Disney Springs starting today, February 21.
The event runs daily from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. through February 24 and is open for all guests at Disney Springs.
Guests can shop “specialty packaged goods” inspired by iconic Disney foods, enjoy special photo ops, entertainment, mini-makeovers by MAC Cosmetics, and more.
Disney is also promising other “crave-worthy surprises.”

The NBA Experience is slated to open in the summer of 2019 in Disney Springs and today we have more details about this new entertainment destination.
Guests at the NBA Experience will have a chance to experience “hands-on activities that highlight the action and excitement of professional basketball.”
Some of the experiences include: an NBA Draft photo experience, an NBA Combine challenge, executing the perfect slam dunk, access a team locker room, and much more.

The latest celebrity chef-driving eatery in Disney Springs is serving up lunch and dinner in a setting inspired by traditional farmhouses.
The menu features something for everyone from casual eats to classic dishes Puck is known for.
The menu includes his classic pizzas in addition to pastas (made with locally-sourced ingredients) to steak and more.

The World of Disney in Disney Springs has reopened after a lengthy refurbishment!
Areas of the store had been open during the refurb of World of Disney, but on October 27, guests had a chance to step inside the store and see all of the updated areas.
The new and improved World of Disney even has its own Disney Springs backstory now – and as the story goes it used to be a marketplace, but animators took it over and turned it into a place to create.

A new restaurant – City Works Eatery and Pour House – is coming to Disney Springs in the summer of 2019.
This new restaurant will be located on the West Side of Disney Springs.
The menu will feature “bar bites,” burgers, appetizers, and more along with 80 varieties of beer on tap including “rare, limited supply, special tappings from local breweries” and beers from around the world.
Wine will also be on the menu.
Sports fans will enjoy catching the big game on the high-def televisions, including a 165-inch screen.

Three new retail locations are opening soon at Disney Springs.
Disney Tails is opening October 12 inside the Marketplace Co-Op and will offer Disney-themed pet items including leashes, collars, bandanas, toys, and even costumes.
Lovepop will also be located inside the Marketplace Co-Op and will feature 3D paper sculpture greeting cards. Each card is “designed on cutting-edge software, then hand-assembled.”
Lovepop will be opening mid-October.
