A new celebration – Pop-Up Disney! A Mickey Celebration – is coming to Disneyland’s Downtown Disney District this spring.
This new event will transport guests “through a visually and whimsically immersive experience celebrating 90 years of the one and only Mickey Mouse, and his darling, Minnie Mouse.”
The limited time exhibit in the Downtown Disney District will feature themed rooms with displays inspired by Mickey Mouse. The rooms will include “selfie-worthy surprises” for everyone.

Disney has released additional information and images for Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway which is opening next year at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
The attraction “will totally immerse guests in a cartoon world and will feature a new catchy theme song created especially for the attraction,” according to Disney.
The Runaway Railway will also have “the look, feel, sound, comedy and cadence of Mickey shorts cartoons, and guests will be placed right in the middle.”

Minnie Mouse has finally received her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The star was in celebration of Minnie’s 90th anniversary and the ceremony was attended by Minnie, Mickey, Disney CEO Bob Iger, and the host of ABC’s American Idol Katy Perry.
Minnie’s first on-screen appearance was in Steamboat Willie alongside Mickey Mouse.
She has starred in more than 70 films throughout her career.

The second annual #RockTheDots celebration is this weekend, through January 22 at Disney Springs and Disneyland’s Downtown Disney District.
Celebrating Minnie Mouse and National Polka Dot Day, the #RockTheDots celebration features merchandise, dance parties, and food and merchandise discounts (the latter just for guests who are rocking polka dots).

Several Disney stars are set to receive their own star on the famed Hollywood Walk of Fame!
The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce has announced that Disney stars including Minnie Mouse, Mark Hamill (Star Wars), and Lin-Manuel Miranda (Moana, Mary Poppins Returns) are among the stars who will be honored in 2018 with stars on Hollywood Boulevard.
Other stars who will be honored with stars next year include Zoe Saldana (Avatar), Jeff Goldblum (who is starring as the Grandmaster in Marvel’s Thor: Ragnarok this fall), Shonda Rhimes, and Anthony Anderson (black-ish).

Minnie’s Seasonal Dine at Hollywood & Vine in Disney’s Hollywood Studios is moving from a dinner-only event to a lunch and dinner offering.
Currently guests can join Minnie and her friends for a themed dinner each night at Hollywood & Vine. The current theme is silver screen theme in celebration of all things Hollywood.
