Disney Developing ‘Alice in Wonderland’ Sequel

Sources are reporting that Disney is currently developing a sequel to Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland, which earned over $1 billion worldwide for the studio.

Disney hired award-winning screenwriter Linda Woolverton to pen the sequel’s script. Woolverton has worked on several Disney films in the past, including the first Alice as well as Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King, and the forthcoming Maleficent.

So far, the studio is keeping plot details for the planned sequel under wraps, but we’ll let you know more as soon as new information becomes available.
