Disney Photo Effects Supervisor Passes Away

Ron Osenbaugh, a special photo effects supervisor for Disney, passed away December 26 at the age of 79.

Born Ronald Earl Osenbaugh, he was best known for his work on 1985′s The Black Cauldron. Osenbaugh also worked on Disney’s Tron, as well as My Science Project and Ernest Saves Christmas.

Osenbaugh is survived by his wife, six children, four stepchildren and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. His two sisters, Gwen and Dorothy, are also still alive.
