dtd decorThis holiday season the Downtown Disney Marketplace is getting all new holiday décor that features a handcrafted look.

The Downtown Disney décor is meant to evoke a feeling of a handcrafted Christmas and the ornaments will feature elements including spools, buttons, burlap, and yard.

The Festival of the Seasons kicks off at Downtown Disney on November 14 and runs through December 30 and the event features holiday carolers, costumed stilt walkers, street performers, and a holiday DJ dance party. Guests also have a chance to meet Santa Claus and have their photo taken with the jolly elf.

Guests visiting Downtown Disney during the holidays should be aware that traffic congestion due to the ongoing Disney Springs reimagining will affect travel plans. Guests who are visiting Downtown Disney for a show should plan to arrive 60 minutes in advance, and those traveling via I-4 should take exit 67.

The new Downtown Disney parking garage is set to open on November 20 with nearly 1,700 spaces available at first. By the end of December nearly 3,000 spots will be open.
