Food Trucks Set to Debut at Downtown Disney This Fall
The food truck revolution is rolling into Downtown Disney.
Disney has announced that there will be four food trucks in total at Downtown Disney and the trucks will each have their own theme that portrays the “essence” of a different Disney Park.
The Enchanted Fare food truck will be serving favorite foods from Disney Parks around the world, such as the Glass Noodle Salad from Hong Kong Disneyland, corn dogs from Disneyland, and the Croque Monsieur from the Magic Kingdom.
Fans of the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival will be able to enjoy some of their favorite dishes at The World Showcase of Flavors food truck, which will be featuring items from the festival including lobster rolls and grass-fed beef sliders.
And if meatballs are what you crave, the Superstar Catering truck is the food truck for you – they’ll be serving a variety of meatball options including a Lamb Meatball Flatbread with Tzatziki.
The fourth planned food truck, the Namaste Café, will be featuring a mix of dishes including Butter Chicken, Slow-Cooked Beef Short Ribs, and Tandori Spiced Shrimp.
The food trucks should be arriving sometime this fall.
Just wondering if the food items will be available via the Disney Dining Plan? Would be a convenient way to stop by a Food Truck to use either a snack or quick service credit.
Jen – Not sure if the Disney Dining Plan will be accepted at the food trucks. I would suggest visiting our friends at the Disney Food Blog here: http://www.disneyfoodblog.com/2013/09/12/news-food-trucks-and-disneyland-corn-dogs-coming-to-downtown-disney-orlando/ … they will have the most up-to-date food news!
