27 February 2012 No Comment

Last week, we brought you news of Disney’s deal with China’s You On Demand service, a subscription video-on-demand program. Now, the French pay-TV operator Canal+ Group has also inked a deal with Disney to make ABC Studios television series and Disney films a part of their subscription-based VoD service, Canalplay Infinity.

The deal will make several series part of the service, including Grey’s Anatomy, Lost and Desperate Housewives. Canalplay Infinity will also offer approximately 100 films from Disney’s catalog including Pirates of the Caribbean.

The service costs €9.99 per month, and is available via Free TV and SFR’s TV service. The video-on-demand service will also be made available on PC’s, mobile devices, Microsoft Xbox consoles and Samsung connected devices over the next several months.
