LeFou’s Brew to Be Signature Drink at Gaston’s Tavern in New Fantasyland

6 September 2012 No Comment

Speculation about at least one major detail can now be put to rest: according to Disney Food Blog, Magic Kingdom’s first tavern will remain alcohol-free.

Gaston’s Tavern, which is set to open in late November as part of the new Fantasyland Expansion, will serve an apple juice concoction dubbed LeFou’s Brew.

Named for Gaston’s dopey sidekick in Beauty and the Beast, the beverage is actually sold under a different name in Disneyland, where it’s featured at the new Cozy Cone Motel in Carsland.

The drink consists of no-sugar-added frozen apple juice, topped with a passion-fruit-mango foam.  Guests can order the concoction in souvenir steins and goblets depicting Gaston and Belle, respectively.  The counter service spot will also offer a signature cinnamon roll.

Who is ready to try the new treats at Gaston’s Tavern?
