New 2012 Disney Cruise Line Ports Announced

Disney Cruise Line fans near New York, Seattle, or Galveston, will be pleased to know that these cities are new home ports for 2012.

Starting May 25, 2012, the Disney Magic will offer 20 different cruises from New York, with three different itineraries guests can choose from: 

  • eight-night cruises to the Bahamas, which will include a call at Disney’s private island, Castaway Cay, as well as a stop at Port Canaveral, a boon for passengers who want to spend a day at Walt Disney World;
  • five-night cruises up the New England Coast; which will also include calls on the Canadian ports of Halifax, Nova Scotia, and Saint John, New Brunswick;
  • three special two-night cruises with departure dates of June 15, July 13, and August 10, for guests who want a taste of the magic Disney Cruise Line has to offer.

Beginning May 28, 2012, the Disney Wonder will offer another season of Alaskan cruises sailing from Seattle, Washington. These seven-night adventures will allow guests to experience the beauty and adventure of Alaska and are perfect for family getaways.

Finally, Galveston will also be offering a set of cruises beginning September 22, 2012. The Disney Magic will offer seven-night cruises from this home port to the Western Caribbean, which will include ports of call in Grand Cayman, as well as Mexico’s Costa Maya and Cozumel.  Couples and families alike can enjoy an enchanting tropical vacation with three days at sea and three days in port.
