jungle cruiseThere’s been some news swirling about lately regarding the possibility of a new restaurant coming to Adventureland in the Magic Kingdom.

If the current rumors are true, that restaurant could be a Jungle Cruise-themed restaurant located in area that used to be home to the Adventureland Veranda Restaurant sponsored by Kikkoman.

In recent year the Veranda has been home to different character meet-and-greets including Tinker Bell and Friends, Lilo & Stitch, and was even a Captain Jack meet-and-greet several years ago.

The new restaurant might be themed around the Jungle Cruise skippers, but there’s no official word yet on what the restaurant might be named or what type of service will be feature – quick service, table service, or a combination of both just like at Be Our Guest.

There is no word yet on when the restaurant might open, but some reports are speculating that it could be by the end of 2015.
