It’s really happening! Rivers of Light – the oft-delayed nighttime spectacular at Disney’s Animal Kingdom – is finally opening on February 17.
The show was originally slated to open in the spring of 2016 but was met with months of setbacks leaving some to wonder if it was ever going to open.
Well, it is!
Guests can enjoy the new nighttime experience beginning February 17.
Rivers of Light combines live performance, floating sets, a “soaring musical score,” fountains, and much more in a “celebration of animals and nature.” The show takes place on the Discovery River and is filled with symbolism and storytelling.
FastPass+ reservations are available now at MyDisneyExperience.com or the My Disney Experience app.
