Summer Fun Kicks Off Memorial Day Weekend at the Walt Disney World Resort
Each theme park at Disney World will be celebrating summer with new shows, experiences, and even the reopening of popular attractions (Epcot, we’re looking at you).
At Disney’s Animal Kingdom guests will have a chance to experience the entire park after dark for the first time ever. The Tree of Life will transform each night and two new nighttime parties are planned – Harambe Wildlife Parti and Discovery Island Carnivale.
And a new show – The Jungle Book: Alive with Magic – debuts on Discovery River. The attractions will be different after dark with an all-new Kilimanjaro Safaris experience at night.
Plus, don’t forget that Tiffins and Nomad Lounge are both opening that weekend too. No reservations or dining packages have been announced yet.
The Magic Kingdom is debuting a brand new stage show in June with Mickey’s Royale Friendship Faire. This is the first show starring Rapunzel and Princess Tiana.
Also in June, Disney’s Hollywood Studios will debut the new Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular nighttime show that combines fireworks, pyrotechnics, and video projections.
And finally at Epcot, guests will have a chance to experience Soarin’ Around the World and Frozen Ever After in June. The new Royal Sommerhus also opens in the Norway pavilion.
