Celebrate the Chinese New Year at Shanghai Disney Resort

Starting today, guests can celebrate the Chinese New Year at Shanghai Disney Resort with special entertainment, merchandise, food, and more.
The celebration of the Year of the Dog will include decorations in bright red and yellow, Mickey and friends in seasonal costumes ready for photos with guests, and guests will receive special wishing cards and golden chocolate coins symbolizing good fortune.
The Garden of Twelve Friends will be transformed into a Wishing Garden for the holiday while the Gardens of Imagination will be home to a drum ceremony each morning.

Celebrate the Year of the Monkey With Special Menus at Nine Dragons and Morimoto Asia

Two Walt Disney World Resort restaurants are celebrating the Chinese New Year with special menu items next month.
The Year of the Monkey begins February 8 and Nine Dragons is celebrating with a special prix fixe lunch menu for $17.98. This menu will be available until January 27, 2017 and it features three courses starting with spring rolls or pot stickers, three choices for entrees, and then dessert.
The entrée choices are: Happy Family, Moo Goo Gai Pan, or General Tso’s Chicken Buns Lunch Box.

Good Fortune For All during the Chinese New Year at Hong Kong Disneyland

This February, guests to Hong Kong Disneyland can share in the celebration of the Spring Festival, otherwise known as the Chinese New Year. The month-long event will feature new merchandise, new photo opportunities, and new clothes for Mickey and the gang!

Celebrate Lunar New Year at Disneyland Park This Week

Guests who visit Disneyland Park this week will enjoy an added bonus:  celebration of Lunar New Year!
The Happy Lunar New Year Celebration!, which began last Friday and will run through January 29, includes special dance and music performances and decorations befitting the holiday.  Extra character meet-and-greets will also take place in front of “It’s a Small World.”  Mulan, Mushu, and other Disney characters will help to ring in the New Year with guests.
