Disney Golf Reveals New Mickey Wedges Set

Summertime means it’s time to hit the links and Disney Golf has just released a new set of wedges with Mickey Mouse logos!
The new Callaway Mickey Mouse Wedge set features three Callaway MD-3 wedges with a Mickey Mouse logo.
The wedges also feature red, yellow, white and green colored weight ports – colors that match the umbrella logo used by Arnold Palmer.
The new Mickey Mouse wedges retail for $18995 each – or $569.85 for the full set of three.

Disney Golf Offering One-Day Holiday Golf Camps for Kids in December

During the Christmas holiday season, Disney Golf is hosting a series of one-day golf camps for kids.
The special junior golf camps are scheduled for December 22, 23, 29, and 30 at Disney’s Lake Buena Vista Golf Course at the Walt Disney World Resort.
Participants will receive PGA instruction in all aspects of the game including putting and on-course play. The junior golfers will receive prizes and have a chance to play games while learning the basics of the game of golf. Kids ages 7-17 can register for the camps. Registration can …

Rookie Golfer Charlie Beljan Wins at Disney for PGA Tour Victory

Rookie pro golfer Charlie Beljan won his first PGA Tour Tournament on Sunday at the Walt Disney World Resort – but it wasn’t an easy victory.
Although he played well throughout the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals Classic – leading, in fact – his blood pressure spiked on Friday. This led to shortness of breath and a near-collapse during the final holes. After receiving medical attention, he returned to the course and ended up winning the entire tournament.

Longtime Disney Volunteer Receives Honors from PGA Tour

Ray Berlinger has dedicated his service to Disney’s annual PGA Tour stop for the last 41 years, and is the first person the pros encounter when they arrive.
On Monday, Berlinger’s longtime service was recognized when he was named the 2011 Volunteer of the Year by the PGA Tour.
Tournament director Kevin Weickel says:
Ray has registered every PGA Tour professional since the first Disney Classic in 1971. In that time, he has epitomized the volunteer spirit through his gracious service and tireless effort.
