As I was searching DisZine to get my Tron fix this morning, it just occurred to me that we’ve never shared this trailer with you!  Well, why not?  I say better late than never!
Here’s a sneak peek at the ultra-sleek “Tron:  Legacy,” Disney’s follow up to the ground-breaking 1982 action adventure sci-fi thriller, which opens EVERYWHERE on Friday, December 17.  Check it out!

New Tron and Italy Shows Coming to Disneyland and Disney World?

According to Stitch Kingdom, Disney is holding auditions for some exciting new parks entertainment positions in addition to the new Disney Channel Rocks show.
In Disneyland’s Disney California Adventure park, the call is out for cast members to star in a new nighttime show featuring the upcoming film Tron: Legacy. For this show, Disney’s looking for male and female contemporary and hip-hop dancers who have martial arts experience. This show will take place around the Hollywood Pictures Backlot.

Disney Acquires Rights To Kosinski’s “Oblivion”

Talk about “ahead of the game.” Disney has recently acquired the rights to an unpublished graphic novel, “Oblivion,” by Tron:Legacy director Joseph Kosinski. Disney is said to have “paid well” for the rights.
According to reports, this deal might line Kosinski up for three Disney studios films: a sequel to Tron:Legacy, the Black Hole remake, and Oblivion itself. While language is aggressive on the concept-to-production side in the Oblivion deal, it remains to be seen in what order these films will be produced.

“Tron: Legacy” Prequel Will Come in Form of a Comic Book

For Disney’s first release under it’s ownership of Marvel, Disney will be releasing something familiar to Marvel fans… a comic book. “Tron: The Betrayal” will serve as a two-issue prequel to the upcoming “Tron: Legacy” film. FlickDirect.com is reporting that the comic will come out after the December release of the “Tron” Legacy” movie, Kevin Flynn will be reunited with Tron while also maintaining both “Encom” and “the Grid.”

“Tron: Legacy” Fans Treated to Special Off-Site Event at Comic-Con

At this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, fans looking forward to Disney’s new movie “Tron: Legacy” were not disappointed. Disney Releases Free “Tron” Video Game for iPhone & iPod Touch Users

In a frenzy of promotional efforts for the highly anticipated “Tron: Legecy” sci-fi film Disney has released it’s latest attention-grabbing promo; a TRON app. Considered a moderized remake of the classic “Tron Tanks” video game; content also includes video trailers of the upcoming feature.
