WestJet Debuts New ‘Frozen’-themed Aircraft
The custom-painted jet was designed by a collaboration of Disney artists, cast members, and WestJetters.
The tail of the plane features Anna and Elsa celebrating sisterhood and the magic of snow. The fuselage features magical snowflakes and the front of the plane features that summer-lovin’ snowman Olaf enjoying the beach.
But it’s not just the outside of the plane that is magical.
The interior of the plane features a Frozen theme too. Just like the outside, the back of the plane features a snowy, cold theme. The design transitions in the middle of the plane and finally the front of the plane features a warm and sunny theme.
The paint job on the plane took 21 days with 12-hour shifts that involved six painters working 24/7. The plane features 54 overhead bins inside and each has a unique Frozen decal.
The Frozen jet will operate throughout WestJet’s network, not just on flight to Orlando.
