25 May 2012 No Comment

Youth Services of America in collaboration with Disney Friends for Change in Latin America and the UK have unveiled two new grant programs to further their goal of helping children make a positive impact on their world and those within it.

The new grant programs in the UK and Latin America are aimed at kids 5 to 18 and are designed to help kids get involved with creating a healthier planet while making a difference. Those who apply for these programs are able to help improve lives and make a real difference in the world. Disney Friends for Change has created many initiatives in the past, such as helping provide clean water in Ecuador; increasing educational opportunities in Haiti and finding alternative sources of income for the people of India.

These grants programs will vary in size and geographic location, but both new grants are looking for applicants that have demonstrated leadership, creativity, and the commitment to making a positive impact within the community.

The deadline for the UK grants is June 21, 2012 while the deadline for Latin America grants is July 1, 2012.
