Dining at Tangaroa Terrace at Disneyland Hotel

When choosing where to dine at the Disneyland Hotel, one of the most popular restaurants is Tangaroa Terrace. Here, you’ll find a wide variety of Island-inspired cuisine as well as tropical cocktails that really make a statement.

Inspired by Disney’s Adventureland, Tangaroa Terrace is the place to go for a causal dining experience and a taste of the Islands. This tropical-themed restaurant features a variety of fun decor, including tiki torches and music from the South Seas. Whether you’re in the mood for breakfast, lunch or dinner you will find plenty of palate-pleasing selections here.

For breakfast, you can choose their signature french toast smothered in warm banana caramel sauce, or opt for a more traditional dish such as an egg platter or breakfast burrito. For lunch, you’ll have your pick of juicy burgers, sandwiches, and salads or even Island Fish and Chips served with sweet potato fries and lime tartar sauce. Finally, dinner brings you your choice of an Island Dinner Plate, with entrees that can include miso-crusted salmon, island pork chops with a tamarind glaze and other delicacies. All entrees are also accompanied by jasmine rice, panko-crusted Chinese long beans and green papaya slaw. Adult guests can also enjoy beer, wine or a tropical cocktail with their meal.

If you’re in a hurry, you can still enjoy the taste of the Islands with Tangaroa Terrace’s Grab-N-Go section. Here, you can pick up yogurt parfaits, sweet potato cakes and other quick-service favorites you can bring with you to anywhere in the park.

Adjacent to Tangaroa Terrace, you’ll find Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar, an immersive, interactive experience for adult guests. Inspired by Disney’s Jungle Cruise attraction, this tiki bar features exotic bar food and a wealth of specialty cocktails you can enjoy either before or after dinner. Creations include the HippopotoMai Tai, an exotic blend of two shots of rum, almond syrup, tropical juices and hibiscus grenadine. Alternatively, you can opt for the Krakatoa Punch which combines light and dark rum, orange curacao, almond syrup, organic agave nectar and fresh lime juice. All cocktails are served in tiki-style glasses, which fits the tropical theme very well.

For a taste of the Islands, guests of the Disneyland Hotel will love Tangaroa Terrace and the adjacent Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar. Whether you’re in the mood for a quick bite to eat, a gourmet appetizer, tropical cocktails or a full sit down meal, you’ll find what you’re looking for at these exclusive establishments at the Disneyland Hotel.
