Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel and Spa is located within Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, CA. The hotel opened in 2001, and is the resort’s only hotel that was originally built and maintained by The Walt Disney Company.
The hotel and spa was designed and decorated in the American Craftsman style, based on the Arts and Crafts movement of the 1900’s. A professional pianist also does performances in the hotel lobby, so guests can relax and enjoy some serene tunes as they unwind from a day of fun. Other exclusive experiences include a private Build-A-Bear workshop session; professional beauty lessons at Sephora, a brisk morning walk through Disney’s California Adventure Park, Pilates and more, all of which can be booked in advance or during check-in.
Other specialized services include exotic treatments at the Mandara Spa, located on the hotel grounds. There are also three separate pools – the Mariposa Pool, the Redwood Pool, and the Fountain Pool – for guests to relax and unwind. The Mariposa Pool offers 4 poolside cabanas for guests to use, as well, which feature flat-screen televisions, safes, and wireless internet access. Kids and families can also have fun in the Grizzly Game Arcade, and parents can sign their children up for the supervised Pinocchio’s Workshop for kids ages 5-12.
