Disney’s Hollywood Studios signature restaurant, The Hollywood Brown Derby, is located on Hollywood Boulevard and is open for both lunch and dinner. This upscale restaurant is adorned with caricatures of famous faces, and the entire decor is designed to reflect the Golden Age of Hollywood. If you decide to dine here, you can book the Fantastismic! Dining Package where you will be awarded designated seating during this nighttime spectacle.
The Hollywood Brown Derby also offers a Dine with an Imagineer Package. Enjoy a 4 course meal while talking with one of Disney’s Imagineers. You’ll also receive a special souvenir plate to commemorate the event.
For more casual fare on Hollywood Boulevard, visit the 50’s Prime Time Cafe. This restaurant serves old-fashioned American comfort food such as fried chicken, meatloaf and pot roast. There are also special “TV Tables” that allows you to enjoy clips from popular prime-time sitcoms broadcast during 1955 while you dine. The entire restaurant is a trip down memory lane for older patrons, and the 50’s knick-knacks and decor are fun for the whole family.
If you’re looking for a unique casual dining restaurant, try Hollywood & Vine. This restaurant features buffet-style selections freshly prepared at on-stage cooking stations with a rotating selection of items, such as salmon, fresh roasted meats, peel-and-eat shrimp and plenty of desserts. There are also character dining opportunities kids will love like Disney Junior Play ‘n Dine at Hollywood & Vine. This opportunity allows guests to join special Disney Junior characters like Handy Manny, June and Leo and Special Agent Osco for a special musical celebration. This opportunity is available for both the breakfast and lunch buffets.
For more sophisticated palettes, try Mama Melrose’s Ristorante Italiano in the Backlot section of the park. Many of the traditional Italian favorites served here are baked in a wood-fire oven, and guests will love the casual and colorful environment this restaurant evokes. Choose from hearty Italian fare like flatbread pizzas, pasta dishes, seafood and steak selections. Desserts are plentiful, and there are several beer and wine brands to choose from for adult guests.
