Sources have announced that Marvel Studios will begin filming Captain America: The Winter Soldier next year. Portions of the filming will take place in Cleveland, OH.

Louis D’Esposito, Co-President, Marvel Studios said:

Marvel is pleased to return to Ohio, this time with our Captain America: The Winter Soldier production. The location, talent and people of Ohio are sure to benefit our film, and we look forward to beginning production.

The Captain America sequel will start where The Avengers left off, with Steve Rogers attempting to accept his role in the modern world. Cleveland natives Anthony and Joe Russo will direct.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier is slated for release April 4, 2014.
