The dates have been announced for the 2020 Epcot Flower and Garden Festival!
The Festival will run for 90 days in 2020, from March 4 through June 1.
Once again the Festival will feature topiaries, Outdoor Kitchens, and the Garden Rocks Concert Series.
A new Remy topiary will debut in 2020 in an all-new Ratatouille-themed garden in the France Pavilion. This garden will be planted with vegetables that are used to make ratatouille.
Returning topiaries for 2020 include Snow White, Elsa and Anna, Belle and Beast, Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Miss Piggy and Kermit.

There’s a new way to enjoy the theme parks at Disney World – the new Mid-Day Magic Ticket!
This new ticket option gives guests the ability to visit any of the Disney World theme parks after 12 p.m.
The Mid-Day Magic Tickets are priced at:
Two-day ticket from $88 a day, plus tax (from $176 total, plus tax)
Three-day ticket from $84 a day, plus tax (from $252 total, plus tax)
Four-day ticket from $79 a day, plus tax (from $316 total, plus tax)
The tickets must be used by December 15, 2019.

Today is the first Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party for 2019 and Disney has just announced an all-new season pass for the party!
The Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party Pass can be purchased starting today and gives passholders the chance to attend up to 35 Halloween parties this year.
The pass is $299 plus tax and can be purchased by calling 407-939-4295 or by visiting any of the ticket windows at the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks.

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party kicks off August 16 at the Magic Kingdom and this year’s party will feature new fireworks, a new nighttime show, new enhanced attractions, and more.
The new nighttime show – “Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular” – will be hosted by Jack Skellington from Tim Burton’s ‘A Nightmare Before Christmas,’ and will feature “state-of-the-art projection effects, lasers, lighting, and dazzling fireworks.”
Several attractions are also getting overlays for the party including Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor, Pirates of the Caribbean, Space Mountain, and the Mad Tea Party.

It’s the date we’ve been waiting for – the opening date for the Disney Skyliner has been announced!
The newest transportation option at Disney World will be opening on September 29!
The Disney Skyliner will connect Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Epcot to Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, Disney’s Riviera Resort (when it opens in December), and Disney’s Pop Century and Art of Animation Resorts.

It’s time to start planning what you’re going to eat at the 2019 Epcot Food and Wine Festival because the Marketplace booth menus are here!
Two new booths join the lineup this year – The Alps and Appleseed Orchard. And several booths have left the Festival including New Zealand, Greece, Light Lab, Almond Orchard, and Craft Drafts.

A new experience has been added to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party – Cruella’s Halloween Hide-a-Way at Tony’s Town Square Restaurant.
This experience allows guests to “pop in and out” of Tony’s Town Square starting at 9:30 p.m. while enjoying hors d’oeuvres including spinach dip with ciabatta crostini, assorted Halloween flatbreads, plus sweet treats like chocolate-dipped strawberries, cheesecake and mini cannoli, Kanine Krunchy cake, and Mini De Vil brownies. Beverages include a variety beer and wine selections and more.
Guests will also have access to a special viewing area for Mickey’s Boo-To-You parade.

The new Signature dining location in Epcot’s Japan Pavilion has a name and an opening season.
The restaurant – Takumi-Tei – is scheduled to open this summer!
The restaurant’s name means “house of the artisan,” and according to Disney “the design celebrates the relationship between Japanese craftsmanship and the natural world, while the food is inspired by the wonderful collaboration between nature and takumi, the artisan.”
The menu will feature wagyu beef and guests can enjoy a multi-course tasting menu with a traditional tea service.

The 2019 Epcot Food and Wine Festival kicks off August 29 this year and there’s a full lineup for the Eat to the Beat concert series!
This year’s concerts take place Sundays through Thursdays 5:30 PM, 6:45 PM and 8:00 PM, and Fridays and Saturdays 6:30 PM, 7:45 PM and 9:00 PM.
The concerts run until November 19 – which is a few days before the Festival ends.
