D23 Offers ‘Disneyland Off the Map’ Event on March 6

Thousands of guests head to Disneyland each day to experience the park’s numerous attractions, but there are some things at the park that few people have the privilege to see. Now, D23 is offering the chance to tour these exclusive locations, with a new “Disneyland Off the Map” event to be held in March.

The event, which will take place on Tuesday, March 6, 2012 from approximately 9:00 AM-9:00 PM, will give D23 members the rare opportunity to see some of Disneyland’s most legendary locations. As part of the event, guests will visit Walt Disney’s private apartment, which is located above the Fire House on Main Street and completely closed to the public; the Disneyland Dream Suite, a special suite located above Pirates of the Caribbean that was installed for the Year of a Million Dreams celebration in 2008; and a circle tour of Disneyland aboard the Lily Belle VIP Parlor Car on the Disneyland Railroad, an exclusive train car named after Walt’s wife Lillian which has transported heads of state and living legends from all over the world. D23 also hints at a special dinner during the event, which will take place at “one of the resort’s most unique restaurants,” as well as some special surprises and gifts thrown in along the way.

Tickets for the event, which will cost $250 per person, will be on sale beginning February 9, 2012 at 10:00 AM PST. For more information about the event and to purchase tickets, visit the official event page.
