While Walt Disney World’s New Fantasyland officially opened to the public late last year, there are still a few new attractions in store before Fantasyland’s transformation is officially complete. This week brought some exciting news regarding the upcoming debut of Disney's Aladdin musical on Broadway, as it was revealed that the show will officially open at Broadway's New Amsterdam Theater on March 20, 2014.
The musical will transfer to Broadway following its pre-Broadway tryout this winter at Toronto's Mirvish Theater, where it runs from November 1 through January 5, 2014. The show will then begin previews on Broadway on February 26, 2014 prior to its official opening date.

The release of Pixar’s next upcoming film, The Good Dinosaur, may be less than a year away, but Pixar is apparently still making some major changes to the upcoming animated feature. This week, it was officially confirmed that Bob Peterson, the film’s original director, has been removed from the project.
