Governor Elect Rick Scott Makes Stop at Epcot

28 December 2010 No Comment

Florida Governor-Elect Rick Scott underscored his commitment to education with a stop at Epcot today.

Scott, soon to be Florida’s 45th governor, visited the park with a group of children on Monday during his “Forging a Path to Prosperity Appreciation Tour.”  The children who accompanied Scott to Epcot were from Frontline Outreach, a program geared toward inner-city children.

While Scott’s message was about the importance of education, he also took the opportunity to try out a few rides during the visit.
