25 September 2010 No Comment

Orlando’s new “Amway Center” is set to open in October with the stars in blue & white, the “Orlando Magic,” ready to showcase stellar basketball moves on the new court. Partnering with their magical neighbors in a multi-year agreement, Disney will have naming rights to the Center’s Atrium, the basketball franchise will work with Disney on co-branded merchandise, and they’ll establish community outreach projects together.

Referred to as a ‘Champions of the Community’ sponsor, the Orlando Magic is hoping that this new partnership with Disney will help them further their efforts to enhance the quality of life and make dreams come true across the Central Florida region.

Orlando Magic President Alex Martins comments:

“As a long-standing member of the Central Florida community, Disney has established a great legacy that we hope to build upon at the Amway Center. We look forward to working together to make continued impact on our Central Florida community for one common purpose… becoming champions both on and off the court.” (-WDW News)
