New Animator Added to Pixar Speaker Sessions for Pixar’s 25th Anniversary Weekend

I have some exciting news for you today, Pixar fans! A new animator has been added to the Pixar Speaker Sessions at Pixar’s 25th Anniversary Weekend at Epcot, taking place this weekend (May 13-15.)

Scheduled for May 15, Supervising Animator Shawn Krause is scheduled to replace Michael Giacchino at the 6 p.m. special presentation at the World Showplace. Krause is known for his work on the studio’s first feature Toy Story, and has contributed to several films since then, including A Bug’s Life, Toy Story 2, Monsters, Inc., Finding Nemo, The Incredibles, and Cars. He also worked on Up and is currently working as supervising animator for Cars 2.

While Krause is taking over the 6 p.m. time slot that Giacchino previously occupied, you can still catch Giacchino at 4 and 6 p.m. May 14, as well as during a special presentation at 4 p.m. May 15. There are still open registration slots available for the speaker sessions on Sunday, so visit PixarWeekend.com to sign up.
