pandoraGuests visiting Pandora – The World of Avatar beginning May 27 can support conservation efforts while visiting the new immersive land.

Connect to Protect is a new “mobile adventure” for guests where they can participate in missions on Pandora and help protect at risk animals on Earth.

Guests who are using the My Disney Experience app can instant message one of Pandora’s ecological specialists – Fistimti “Fits” Buckley – once they enter Pandora. Fits will then guide guests around Pandora while sharing conservation messages.

When guests complete one or more missions on Pandora they will unlock a $10 contribution from Disney Parks through the Disney Conservation Fund or a $5 contribution for talking about conservation.

Guests can choose how the contribution will be used for one of 10 threatened categories of animals.

Pandora – The World of Avatar opens May 27 at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
