Get Ready for a Magical Holiday Season at the Walt Disney World Resort

It might be the dog days of summer, but some folks are already thinking about their holiday vacation at the Walt Disney World Resort.
This year the holidays at Disney World will include fan favorites and some new experiences across the theme parks, hotels, and Disney Springs.
At Disney’s Hollywood Studios guests can once again enjoy Sunset Seasons Greetings which will transform Hollywood Boulevard and the Hollywood Tower Hotel. The Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! nighttime show is also returning to the park.

Seasonal Eats Arrive at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

The holidays have officially started at Disney’s Hollywood Studios with the addition of new holiday decor and a slate of specialty foods and drinks.
Two holiday events – Sunset Seasons Greetings and Jingle Bell! Jingle BAM! – both start November 9, but guests can check out the holiday eats and drinks now.
Some of the new holiday foods include a Red Velvet Christmas Tree Whoopie Pie, an Olaf Cupcake, a Gingerbread Pop, Holiday Popcorn, and even a donut sundae.

The Week in Disney News: Hurricane Irma Impacts on Disney World, Holiday Events Announced, and More

Happy Sunday! We’re back with another recap of the week’s biggest Disney news stories!
Last Sunday Hurricane Irma meant the closure of the Walt Disney World Resort for two days. The theme parks reopened on September 12 with mostly minimal damage.
The Walt Disney Company announced a $2.5 million donation to the relief efforts following Hurricane Irma.
In non-hurricane news, J.J. Abrams was announced as the writer and director for Star Wars: Episode IX.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios Adding New Holiday Experiences and Decorations

Disney’s Hollywood Studios is celebrating the holiday season in style this year with all new experience, decorations, and more.
Guests will have a chance to enjoy the all-new Sunset Seasons Greetings beginning on November 9.
This new nighttime holiday experience includes projections of Disney characters sharing their favorite Christmas stories, snow on Sunset Boulevard, and projections of holiday images on the Hollywood Tower Hotel.

The Walt Disney World Resort Announces New and Returning Holiday Experiences for 2017

The holiday season at Walt Disney World kicks off in early November and Disney has started to announce what experiences and events guests can expect.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios is adding some new holiday events to its lineup including Sunset Seasons Greetings with a new projection show, enhanced holiday décor around Echo Lake, the return of Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! and the accompanying dessert party, Minnie’s Holiday Dine at Hollywood & Vine, and Santa Claus at the Once Upon a Time Shop.

Sunset Seasons Greetings Coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Disney’s Hollywood Studios is celebrating the holiday season with an all-new holiday event – Sunset Seasons Greetings.
This new event starts November 9 and run through December 31 on Sunset Boulevard at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
Each night at dusk Sunset Boulevard will come to life with twinkling lights and the billboards will come to life, telling a tale with “iconic characters.”
