A new Disney Channel Original Movie, Teen Beach Musical, will be coming to the airwaves sometime in 2013.
While not much is known about this movie thus far, we do know that it will be a modern-day take on the classic beach musicals from the 1960’s.
The film will star Australian actress Maia Mitchell, a surfer girl who must leave her boyfriend behind because her parents force her to go to an exclusive boarding school. Her boyfriend will be played my Ross Lynch, best known for his role on Disney Channel’s Austin & Ally.
