Epcot Food and Wine Festival News

Our friends at the Disney Food Blog shared some big news this week about this year’s Epcot Food and Wine Festival.

First, the bookings for the festival’s special events open to the general public on July 31! The DFB’s post had some great information on this year’s special events, including new seminars and some returning favorites (like the Parisian Breakfast!)

Other Food and Wine Festival news included more menu updates, and news that Puerto Rico booth is returning this year after a year-long hiatus.

Kouzzina by Cat Cora – located at Disney’s BoardWalk – is closing at the end of September. But the mystery as to what is replacing the Mediterranean eatery has been solved. Trattoria al Forno is scheduled to open in the same location by December. This Italian eatery will feature wood-fired pizzas, handmade mozzarella, and dishes from several regions. And wine lovers will be happy to hear that only Italian wines will be served – 60 by the bottle and nearly 25 by the glass.
