Disney Logo to be Featured on Orlando Magic Uniforms

Disney has announced that the Disney logo will be featured on the Orlando Magic’s uniforms starting next season.
The NBA is starting a trial period where teams can have sponsorship partners for their uniforms.
In 2010, Disney was one of the team’s Champion of the Community partners and views this expanded partnership as one more way “to solidify Central Florida’s presence as a global sports destination.”

2018 Disney Dining Plan to Include Alcohol and Specialty Beverages

Booking opened today for 2018 Walt Disney World travel packages, including the 2018 Disney Dining Plan. And there’s a major change to the Dining Plan for next year – alcohol is now included.
That’s right. Guests – 21 and over of course – can now order an alcoholic beverage including beer, wine, and specialty cocktails as part of their meal (where alcohol is served).
And if you’re under age 21 you can still order a non-alcoholic specialty beverage (like a milkshake) as part of your meal.

New Designs Coming for Disney Parks Dooney & Bourke Handbags

The Dooney & Bourke Disney Parks collection is updating a popular design and releasing several new handbag collections.
The “Disney Sketch” collection was introduced about eight years ago and has been updated with a new look and a new name – “A Walk in the Park.”
The new design was “drawn in a coloring book style” according to Paola Gutierrez, Senior Graphic Design with Disney Consumer Products and Interactive Media Creative Group. The design features Mickey mouse, Donald Duck, and other park icons.

Gone Mad Party Returns to Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa

The Alice in Wonderland-themed ‘Gone Mad Party’ is returning to Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa!
The party takes place on Wednesday nights near the Gasparilla Island Grill at the resort.
As of press time the party is planned for the remaining Wednesdays in June – so if you’re visiting after this month be sure to check with the hotel for additional dates.
The Gone Mad Party is free for everyone – you don’t need to be a guest of the hotel to attend.

Disney California Adventure Hosting Artist Showcase Events June 17 and June 24

Disney California Adventure is hosting two Artists Showcase events at Ramone’s House of Body Art on June 17 and 24.
The showcase events are to celebrate the 5th anniversary of Cars Land and will feature artists whose works can be found at the WonderGround Gallery.
Today, June 17, guests can meet Jerrod Maruyama and Joey Chou from 2-4 p.m. On June 24 guests can meet Jeff Granito, Max Grundy, Michael Murphy, and Michelle Bickford from 2-4 p.m.
