If you’re looking for a family-friendly New Year’s Eve celebration at Disney World, you can now make reservations for Mickey’s New Year’s Eve BBQ at Fort Wilderness.
This special event takes place at Mickey’s Backyard BBQ and will include Chip and Dale plus Mickey and Minnie.
Guests will enjoy the all-you-can-eat BBQ in the outside pavilion (a true Florida New Year’s Eve party!) with some special holiday foods. The holiday items include Lobster Mac and Cheese, Bacon Jam Burger Sliders, and more.

Disney Vacation Club members can make reservations beginning October 10 for the DVC member Thanksgiving dinner at Disney’s Contemporary Resort.
The Liberty Feast takes place November 23 from 3-5 p.m. in the Fantasia Ballroom at the Contemporary.
The meal includes a “Colonial-inspired feast,” live entertainment, characters, non-alcoholic beverages (guests 21 and older can purchase alcoholic beverages), and special activities for kids.
The price for the meal is $70.60 plus tax and gratuity for adults and $39.95 plus tax and gratuity for kids ages 3-9.

In honor of the 80th anniversary of the animated classic Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Disney is releasing a new ‘Dream Big, Princess’ handbag collection from Dooney & Bourke.
The collection will be released September 30 at Uptown Jewelers on Main Street U.S.A. in the Magic Kingdom.
The new handbags feature Snow White’s signature colors – red, blue, and yellow – along with a stained glass window design.

Chef Mickey’s at Disney’s Contemporary Resort is temporarily relocating to the Contemporary Convention Center in late November.
The relocation will last through December and is due to “routine maintenance.”
If you have an Advance Dining Reservation for Chef Mickey’s during this time no changes have been made to the reservations.
And, guests can still make reservations for the popular character buffet during the relocation period. Reservations can be made online or by calling 407-WDW-DINE.
Disney has not announced an official date other than “late December” for the end of the maintenance at the restaurant.

Epcot’s 35th anniversary is Sunday, October 1, and the theme park is ready to celebrate!
Guests visiting Epcot on Sunday can pick up a commemorative guide map at the main entrance, International Gateway, and at Guest Relations.

Disney Junior’s newest animated series, Vampirina, debuts October 1 with two back-to-back episodes simulcast on Disney Channel and Disney Junior.
The show stars Lauren Graham, James Van Der Beek and Isabella Crovetti as the Hauntley family. They’re a family of friendly vampires who recently moved from their home in Transylvania.
The episodes follow Vampirina (Vee) as she “aces the joys and trials of being the new kid in town including making friends and attending a new school in the human world.”

Orlando’s Magical Dining Month has been extended for 11 days and will now run through October 12.
More than 90 of the participating restaurants have agreed to extend the program, including several at the Walt Disney World Resort.
Magical Dining Month gives diners the chance to enjoy a $35 prix fixe menu at participating Orlando-area restaurants and $1 from each meal supports Freedom Ride and BASE Camp Children’s Cancer Foundation.

Epcot is celebrating its 35th anniversary on October 1 and Disney has announced a special collection of commemorative merchandise for the big day.
The new “I Was There” collection includes apparel, pins, and more.
Several items in the collection feature Figment, the loveable purple dragon that has been at Epcot for a long time.
He’s featured on T-shirts for kids and adults, plus a hat and a limited-edition pin. There’s also an ornament in the collection.
