New Restaurant Announced for Disney Springs

A new restaurant – City Works Eatery and Pour House – is coming to Disney Springs in the summer of 2019.
This new restaurant will be located on the West Side of Disney Springs.
The menu will feature “bar bites,” burgers, appetizers, and more along with 80 varieties of beer on tap including “rare, limited supply, special tappings from local breweries” and beers from around the world.
Wine will also be on the menu.
Sports fans will enjoy catching the big game on the high-def televisions, including a 165-inch screen.

New Retail Locations Coming to Disney Springs

Three new retail locations are opening soon at Disney Springs.
Disney Tails is opening October 12 inside the Marketplace Co-Op and will offer Disney-themed pet items including leashes, collars, bandanas, toys, and even costumes.
Lovepop will also be located inside the Marketplace Co-Op and will feature 3D paper sculpture greeting cards. Each card is “designed on cutting-edge software, then hand-assembled.”
Lovepop will be opening mid-October.
And finally, in the former location of Little Miss Matched, The Art of Disney Presents Greg McCullough is set to open on November 3.

Celebrate Halloween at Disney Parks Around the World

The Disney Parks around the world are celebrating Halloween in fun and spooky ways.
At Disneyland Paris they’re celebrating Mickey 90 Mouse Party with a special Mickey Mouse float in the Mickey’s Halloween Cavalcade parade, and the Disney Villains are celebrating with the “It’s Good to be Bad with the Disney Villains” show.
Hong Kong Disneyland is hosting Jack Skellington as part of the 25th anniversary celebration of The Nightmare Before Christmas in Journey to Halloween Town!. Guests can enjoy this walkthrough experience and meet Jack and Sally.

New Restaurants, Pool Bar, and Lobby Open at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort

Today was an exciting day at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort! The new counter service restaurant, table service restaurant, lobby, and reimagined pool bar all opened!
The new locations are part of a huge construction project at the resort that started in May 2017.
The new counter service location – Centertown Market – is open for breakfast and dinner, with grab-and-go items available at lunch.
Sebastian’s Bistro – the new table service spot that replaces Shutters – is open for lunch and dinner.
And, the redesigned (and relocated) Banana Cabana Pool bar is serving up …

Sneak Preview of ‘The Nutcracker and the Four Realms’ Playing at Disney Parks

Guests at Disney California Adventure and Disney’s Hollywood Studios can check out an extended sneak peek of The Nutcracker and the Four Realms.
The preview is being shown as part of Walt Disney Presents at Hollywood Studios and in the Sunset Showcase Theater at Disney California Adventure.

Reservations Open for Storybook Dining with Snow White at Artist Point

Reservations are now open for the new Storybook Dining with Snow White at Artist Point at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge.
This new character meal dinner invites guests into a forest-like setting where they can enjoy a meal inspired by the film Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, and meet Snow White, Dopey, Grumpy, and the Evil Queen.
The menu will feature seasonal items and includes starters like: Hunter’s Pie, Winter Squash Bisque, Wicked Shrimp Cocktail, and From the Garden, an array of fruits, vegetables, cheese, and create-your-own honey butter.

Celebrate Halloween at Disney Springs

If you’re headed to Disney Springs this Halloween season, there are several spooky ways to celebrate!
First, you can make reservations at The Edison for their party – A Halloween Soiree at The Edison, celebrating the 25th anniversary of “Disney Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas.”
This adults-only event (guests must be 21 years old or older to attend) will include small plates and drinks inspired by the film. Guests can wear costumes but must follow the Disney costume guidelines. Price for the event is $85 per person and doors open at …

Sebastian’s Bistro Opening Next Week at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort

Sebastian’s Bistro, the new table service restaurant at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, is opening Monday, October 8.
The restaurant is located at the waterfront area of Old Port Royale at the resort and “celebrates the natural beauty of the Caribbean, from coral patterns and kelp filigree to lure-inspired art and nautical designs.”
The menu features dishes inspired by the Latin and Caribbean flavors including Skirt Steak “Chimichurri”, Citrus-Stuffed Sustainable Whole Fish, Sautéed Shrimp and Tamales, Crab Cake-topped Burger, and a Crispy Avocado Bacon Burger.

Disney Cruise Line Announces Sailing Itineraries for 2020

Disney Cruise Line has announced its sailing itineraries for 2020 and the sailings include new ports of departure and a return to Hawaii.
In 2020, Disney Cruise Line will sail from New Orleans for the first time ever when the Disney Wonder departs on four-, six- and seven-night Western Caribbean sailings; a seven-night Bahamian cruise; and a 14-night Panama Canal voyage.
Departures from New Orleans begin in “Mardi Gras season” in early 2020.
