Super Bowl Championship Package Available at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin for Residents of California or New England

The Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin has announced its 2019 Championship Package for residents of either California or New England – depending on who wins the Super Bowl.
The Championship Package includes a $100 credit to use at any of the restaurants at the Swan or Dolphin, and a one category room upgrade.
Residents of California can book the package if the L.A. Rams win the Super Bowl. Or, residents of New England (including New Hampshire, Maine, Massachusetts, Vermont, Rhode Island, or Connecticut) can book the package if the New England …

Disney Skyliner Testing Underway at the Walt Disney World Resort

Disney has begun initial testing on the gondolas for the Disney Skyliner transportation system.
The Disney Skyliner is slated to open this fall and will connect Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Pop Century, Art of Animation, Disney Riviera Resort, and Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort.
The gondolas will feature characters from several popular Disney films including: Beauty & the Beast, Frozen, Lilo & Stitch, Moana, Peter Pan, The Princess and the Frog, Ralph Breaks the Internet, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, and Zootopia.

Maleficent Dragon Float Returns to the Festival of Fantasy Parade in the Magic Kingdom

The Maleficent dragon float has returned to the Festival of Fantasy Parade in the Magic Kingdom.
The float was sidelined in May 2018 after catching fire during a parade.
The refurbished float still features the steampunk look of the previous float, but she’s been updated with some new features that will keep her “in check” during the parades.
To celebrate the return of the Maleficent dragon float, Disney has also brought back the Maleficent Waffle Cone at Storybook Treats in the Magic Kingdom.

Opening Date Announced for Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy at Disney’s Hollywood Studios has an official opening date!
This new “show experience” races into the Studios on March 31, 2019.
According to Disney, “Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy will welcome you inside the world of Pixar’s Cars films, bringing you face to face with racing legend Lightning McQueen. ”
Guests will learn the rules of the road from Lightning’s “years of experience” and more!

Menus Announced for Lunar New Year at Disney California Adventure

Disney California Adventure is celebrating the Lunar New Year from January 25 – February 17 and the celebration will feature four special food booths, entertainment, and more.
The food booths for the celebration are: Lucky 8 Lantern, Prosperity Bao & Buns, Longevity Noodle Co., and Red Dragon Spice Traders.

Passholder Perks Announced for the 2019 Epcot Festival of the Arts

The 2019 Epcot Festival of the Arts kicks off Friday, January 18, and this year Annual Passholder will have the chance to enjoy some special perks.
On their first visit to the Festival, Passholders can pick up a complimentary Passholder magnet featuring Figment.
The magnets will be available at Mouse Gear or Port of Entry.

Tickets are on sale now for the 2019 Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.
The dates for the 2019 event are:
August 16, 20, 23, 27 and 30; September 2, 6, 8, 10, 13, 15, 17, 20, 22, 24, 27 and 29; October 1, 3, 4, 6, 8, 10, 11, 14, 15, 17, 18, 20, 21, 24, 25, 27, 29 and 31; and November 1.

Sneak Peek at the Food and Merchandise Coming to Disneyland’s Get Your Ears On Celebration

Disneyland is getting ready to kick of the Get Your Ears On Celebration for Mickey’s 90th birthday and Disney is giving guests a preview of the new eats and merchandise for the party.
New merchandise items include T-shirts, baseball caps, and cinch bags in addition to a new Pandora charm, a new line of Dooney & Bourke handbags, and more.

IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth is ending this summer, but there’s a new dining package coming to Epcot so guests can enjoy the last season of the nighttime show.
