It’s April and we’re not foolin’ – there’s a whole month of great merchandise events planned for the Walt Disney World Resort.
Starting today, April 1, and running through April 5 artist Greg McCullough will be at the Art of Disney in the Downtown Disney Marketplace from 1-9 p.m. He’ll return on April 15-19 and then Greg will be at the Art of Disney in Epcot from April 29 through May 3.
Artist David E. Doss will be showcasing his latest work from April 6-14 at the Art of Disney in the Downtown Disney Marketplace from 1-9 p.m. each day.
Precious Moments doll designer Linda Rick will be showcasing her Easter collection from April 10-12 at the Heritage Manor in the American Adventure pavilion. There will be representatives from Precious Moments at the Heritage Manor from April 1-12 and at Once Upon a Toy in Downtown Disney until April 27.
Fan favorite artist Larry Dotson will be at the Art of Disney in Epcot from April 16-18 and April 23-26. Later this month Larry will be at the Art of Disney in Downtown Disney from April 30 until May 3.
Pin traders assemble on April 17 at Disney Pin Traders in Downtown Disney to see the new releases and meet artists Tim Loucks and Erica Virgin from 11 a.m. until noon. There’s a Trading Night planned for April 17 from 6-9 p.m. in Veracruz A at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort.
Walt Disney World Resort is celebrating Earth Day on April 18-22 with special artist showcases including Bushman on April 18-19, Just Plumerias on April 18-22, Elemental Nursery on April 18-22, and William Silvers from April 20-22 in the Animal Kingdom.
The new WonderGround Gallery is welcoming Matt Hawkins for a special artist showcase and signing from 4-7 p.m. on April 24 and 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. on April 25. Artist Jasmine Becket-Griffith will be at the WonderGround Gallery on April 25 from 4-7 p.m.
There’s also a mystery special event planned at Cherry Tree Lane on April 25, but we don’t have the details just yet.
